A few years ago we decided to switch to JOST 5th wheels because of the safety and ease of maintenance built into the design. JOST 5th wheels have proven to be a perfect fit with our Volvo Trucks. Within the next few months, we will be trading in the first trucks that we bought with the JOST wheels and have never had to rebuild one. In fact we have only had to adjust a couple of the units, and we constantly had to adjust our previous brand. Thanks again and hope to see "you" soon also!! Volvo Good Luck, Dear Rich, I just wanted to drop you a note letting you know the current status of the Jost fifth wheels in our fleet(s). We are currently running about 60 wheels Since changing our daycab and refuse spec to Jost on this years orders. These as well as the two test heads that we installed back in march of 2000 are doing a great job and I'm confident the benefits will be realized down the road if and when it comes time to rebuild them. The easy access and simplicity of rebuilding them will be a real time and money saver. At this point in time R&J Trucking, John Brown Trucking and Southern Haulers LLC. will continue to spec the Jost Fifth Wheels on our tractors. We have sold 3 plates since Wednesday. Scott was very thorough and professional in his presentation. He made sure that everyone received a copy of the fifth wheel catalog and a baseball hat.
