Part of JOST World
Since January 1, 2008, the Dutch company Tridec has been part of JOST World. With its product line of steering systems and special suspension units, Tridec is a perfect extension of the existing JOST product line that includes systems, modules and components for the commercial vehicle market.
Tridec product line:
Tridec offers a variety of steering systems and independent suspension units.
Mechanical steering systems:
Mechanical steering systems are linked from the fifth wheel unit to the axle units with a fixed steel connection. Mechanical systems can steer up to 3 axles.
Hydraulic steering systems:
Hydraulic steering systems are not linked with a mechanical connection between the fifth wheel unit and the axle units, but with a hydraulic connection. This means that oversize, overweight and difficult axle and trailer constructions are all possible.
Special suspension units:
The Tridec special suspension units feature independent suspension for double-deck or oversize load carrying trailers, oscillating axle suspension for extreme loads and heavy equipment carrying and a heavy duty hydraulic suspension for off-road agricultural use.
