JOST Warranty Program

As part of the process of enhancing and streamlining our warranty process, JOST International is moving toward electronic, on-line submission and processing of warranty claims. This page is intended to provide you all the necessary materials you need to file a warranty claim with JOST International.

Warranty Coverage
JOST International warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Different products carry different warranties. Filing Warranty Claims
Warranty claims on products may be filed either electronically or via hard copy by fax or mail. The quickest to get a response and preferred way is via e-mail. To be considered for warranty, all claims should meet the following criteria:
Claims can be filed directly with JOST or through any JOST authorized sales or service outlet.

A claim must be filed within 60 days of the product failure.

Claims must be submitted on the JOST warranty claim form. To view and download an electronic copy of the claim form, please click here. Claims must be accompanied by a work order showing when and where the repairs were made and/or an invoice for parts purchased and used in the repair.

All warranty claims involving requests for labor reimbursement are subject to JOST’s Standard Repair Times (SRT) table. To view or download a copy of the fifth-wheel SRT guide, please click here. To view or download a copy of the landing gear SRT guide, please click here.

Return of replaced parts may be requested in some cases. In any case, failed parts must be retained until the warranty claim disposition is finalized. Instructions on how and where to return parts will be given at the time of claim form submission.

All claims on JOST products will be assigned an internal tracking number (RGR number). This number is used as a tracking number when parts return is required and can also be used as a quick reference number when contacting JOST regarding your claim.

After the claim form is completed, you may e-mail it and all supporting documents to warranty2@jostinternational.com.
